Full Time Speech Therapist

At Eat Speak Play, we are ready to welcome our next speech pathologist to build their caseload as they embark on what we know will be an incredible journey with us.     • Availability to start July/August 2025.

    • Deliver client-centred 1:1 and group assessment and therapy for children with speech, language, fluency and literacy disorders. Support neurodivergent children with understanding their social differences and communicating through AAC

    • Develop individualised treatment plans with clear, measurable goals and adapt these plans to meet clients progress and changing needs.

    • Completes assessments and NDIS reports to support families and their children with funding applications.

    • Educate and involve families and caregivers in therapy processes, providing strategies for continued practice at home and promoting active participation in their child's development.

    • Work collaboratively with other therapists, educators, and healthcare professionals to deliver holistic and integrated care, ensuring consistency and continuity of support.

    • Complete timely and detailed clinical notes, progress reports, and data collection to support client progress tracking, funding requirements, and professional standards.

    • Engage in fortnightly team meetings, ongoing training, supervision, and reflective practice to maintain professional competencies and stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in speech pathology.

  • To land this role you will need: 

    • Bachelor or Masters in Speech Pathology

    • Registration with SPA 

    • Permanent Australian residency 

    • Minimum of 2 years experience is preferred however strong new graduates and early career clinicians will certainly be considered.

Part Time Client Care Officer

At Eat Speak Play, we’re not just a clinic—we’re a community dedicated to helping children reach their full potential. Our speech therapy team delivers top-notch assessment and intervention to kids aged 2-18 years, and we’re expanding rapidly across two vibrant locations: Maroubra and Sandringham. We pride ourselves on being a proactive, supportive, and fun place to work, where your contributions truly make a difference.

  • As our Client Care Officer, you’ll be at the heart of our operations, ensuring our clinics run smoothly and our patients feel supported. You’ll work 38 hours per week across 5 days at our Ramsgate, Sandringham, and Matraville locations.

    • Delivering exceptional customer service over the phone and in person.

    • Efficiently managing appointment schedules.

    • Accurately handling and filing clinical documents with attention to detail.

    • Processing payments with professionalism and accuracy.

    • Building strong relationships with patients and their families.

    • Maintaining strict patient confidentiality and adhering to clinic policies.

    • Supporting therapists with resource preparation, keeping the clinic well-organised and ready for action.

    • Implementing clinic policies and procedures

    • Proven experience in a customer care role, preferably in an education/healthcare setting.

    • A high level of professionalism and a commitment to confidentiality.

    • Strong skills in Microsoft software (Excel, Word, Outlook etc.).

    • The ability to work independently, take initiative, and effectively manage your time.

    • Excellent communication skills and a passion for delivering top-notch service.

    • A vibrant, energetic personality that thrives in a busy environment.

    • Permanent Australian residency.

    • Availability after school hours.

    • Eligibility for a Working with Children Check (WWCC)

    Bonus Points For:

    • Knowledge of private health and Medicare claims.

    • Familiarity with NDIS processes.

    • A current CPR certificate or willingness to obtain one.
