At Eat Speak Play, our Allied Health Assistant (AHA) Mentor Program offers a unique pathway for students to gain valuable, hands-on experience while working with our Speech Pathology (SP) team. This program is designed to help you develop clinical skills in a supportive and structured environment, preparing you for a successful career in allied health.

Why Join Our AHA Mentorship Program?

  • Flexible, Paid Experience: Work with clients under the supervision of a senior therapist, with schedules designed to fit around your university commitments.

  • Observational Opportunities: Attend half or full-day observational sessions to learn diverse therapy styles and techniques from our experienced OT and SP teams.

  • Comprehensive Induction: Start with a formal induction to learn the Moving Mountains Therapy approach, setting you up for success in delivering quality client care.

  • Ongoing Mentoring and Supervision: Regular one-on-one mentoring and supervision with senior therapists provide tailored guidance and support to help you build your skills and confidence.

  • Professional Development: Engage in a variety of internal PD opportunities, including multidisciplinary learning sessions with both OT and SP team leaders, to broaden your knowledge base and skill set.
